January 21, 2010 Dear Friend and Neighbor, I am a member of the Brandywine High School Jazz Band. On Friday, March 19th, we will be the host of the 37th Annual Jazz Band Festival. This musical event draws high caliber bands from around the region for an evening of competition. . The Jazz Festival is also our second largest fund-raising event of the year for our band programs. Revenues from admissions, food concessions, and the program book ad sales will yield a majority of our budget to provide instruments, instrument repairs, music, support clinician salaries, the judges’ fees, and visual art expenses. I invite you to renew your commitment or join us this year with an ad in the Program Book. Your support will be visible to our parents, teachers and the community who will be coming to cheer all of the high school band students on. Attached is the order form.
